Replace selected breakers
An electrician installs Noble Carbon only where a project needs monitoring or control.

The product
Noble Carbon combines revenue-grade circuit monitoring, software-connected control, and a retrofit-ready breaker architecture inside the panel a home already has.
How it works
An electrician installs Noble Carbon only where a project needs monitoring or control.
Revenue-grade metering makes circuit demand visible while software establishes operating priorities.
The commercial platform will coordinate flexible loads to help the home stay within its electrical limit.
Designed for retrofit work
*Compatibility applies to planned configurations and remains subject to certified product listings and the specific panel installation.

Current product and roadmap
We distinguish what is entering the pilot from the product designed for broad commercial distribution.
The Quad is the hardware platform for the upcoming 200-home pilot. It provides circuit-level monitoring and control, with UL certification pending. Commercial availability is targeted for Q4 2026.
Noble Carbon plans to bring the platform into a compact two-inch form factor built for the contractor channel and constrained electrification projects.
Product specifications and availability remain subject to certification and final commercial configuration.
Planned capacity management
The planned commercial platform is designed to coordinate only the circuits identified as flexible—not indiscriminately turn appliances off.
Homeowners and installers identify which connected loads may be interrupted and establish operating priorities during commissioning.
When demand approaches the home’s electrical limit, the platform can temporarily pause a lower-priority flexible load.
The system is designed to restore the affected circuit as capacity returns, without asking the homeowner to monitor the panel.
Noble Carbon can complement communicating appliances and home-energy systems by reaching loads that do not share a manufacturer, protocol, or connected interface.
These automated capacity-management capabilities describe the planned commercial platform and are not included in the current Quad pilot configuration.
Connected ecosystem
Noble Carbon currently provides circuit-level monitoring and control through its own hardware and software. Our roadmap includes APIs and integrations that could allow Noble Carbon to coordinate with home-energy platforms, distributed energy resource management systems (DERMS), batteries, smart thermostats, and connected EV chargers—combining circuit-level visibility with device-level intelligence.
These integrations are planned and are not included in the current product.
What the platform enables
Complete an electrification project with less infrastructure work and gain clear, circuit-level visibility.
Convert capacity-constrained leads and add only the intelligence a project requires.
Understand distributed electrical loads without replacing every panel in a building portfolio.
Turn installed circuits into measurable, controllable grid-edge resources over time.
Product questions
No. The Quad provides circuit-level monitoring and software-connected on/off control. Automated dynamic capacity management describes the planned commercial platform.
The planned commercial experience is designed to work from preferences established during setup, automatically pausing and restoring only designated flexible loads as capacity changes.
Noble Carbon products are intended to be installed and serviced by appropriately qualified electrical professionals in accordance with product instructions, listings, codes, permits, and local requirements.
The platform is designed around 10 of 11 common residential panel families. Final compatibility depends on certified product listings, configuration, and the specific installation.
UL certification for the Quad is pending, with commercial availability currently targeted for Q4 2026. Timing and specifications remain subject to certification and production readiness.
