The founding insight
The breaker was the overlooked control point
Founder Jared Lebos grew up in South Africa, where rolling blackouts made electrical constraints part of daily life. Years later, while exploring how homes could operate more flexibly during outages, the same insight kept resurfacing: meaningful circuit-level coordination starts at the circuit breaker.
Despite sitting between every building load and the grid, the breaker had changed remarkably little. Noble Carbon was founded in 2023 to make that foundational component measurable, controllable, and adaptable.
